What is Reset?
Reset is a system that wipes your level in exchange for permanent benefits: accumulated HP/MP, Ascension points, access to exclusive systems like Specialization, and the ability to reset again to grow further.
How does it work?
| Info | Detail |
|---|---|
| How to reset | Talk to the reset NPC in town |
| Cost | Paid in gold, taken directly from the bank |
| Minimum level | Server-configurable |
| Forced town | After reset, you are teleported to a configured town |
| Penalty | Your base XP multiplier drops as you stack resets |
| Benefits | Permanent HP/MP, Ascension points, access to Specialization |
Cost per Reset
Cost scales in tiers of 10 resets:
| Tier | Resets | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Tier 1 | 1–10 | from 25KK, +10KK per reset (reset 10 = 115KK) |
| Tier 2 | 11–20 | from 150KK, +20KK per reset (reset 20 = 330KK) |
| Tier 3+ | 21+ | step doubles every tier (40KK, 80KK, 160KK...) |
From tier 3 onward the cost grows fast — high-end resets easily run into the billions.
Progression by Reset
With each reset performed, you receive additional points to strengthen your character:
| System | Points Received |
|---|---|
| Ascension | +25 points |
| Skill Wheel | +50 points |
Exp Penalty
More resets = lower base XP multiplier:
| Resets | Exp Multiplier |
|---|---|
| 0–5 | 1.00× (no penalty) |
| 6–50 | drops 5–7% every 5 resets |
| 51–100 | drops 7% every 10 resets |
| 101+ | 0.20× (hard floor) |
The multiplier never goes below 0.20×. Past that point, resets still pay for Ascension and HP/MP accumulation, not XP speed.
Accumulated HP and Mana
On reset, a percentage of your current max HP and Mana is permanently preserved. This accumulation carries into every future reset, so the more you reset, the more permanent HP and MP you bring into each new run.
The exact percentage is server-configured.
Extra Benefits
- Ascension points — each reset grants points to spend on attributes (see Ascension)
- Specialization — from reset 10 you can specialize (see How to Get a Specialization)
- Balanced parties — party matching accounts for member reset counts
- Flexible requirements — with at least 1 reset, some level checks on items and spells are relaxed
Tips
- Budget first — high-end resets get expensive fast
- Push your level before resetting — higher pre-reset level = more accumulated HP/MP
- First 5 resets have no XP penalty — farm hard
- Target reset 10 if you want to specialize — that is the Specialization gate
- Deposit gold first — the cost comes from the bank, not your backpack
